Individual Therapy
Therapy for people seeking a deeper understanding of themselves, the families and experiences that shaped them, and the patterns influencing their lives.
Individual therapy is offered virtually via secure telehealth for teens (14+) and adults located in Texas and Pennsylvania.
Services are offered on a self-pay basis. Additional details about fees, scheduling, and policies are available on the Fees & FAQs page.
You May Be a Good Fit If…
Many of the people I work with appear capable and high-functioning on the outside, yet feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck beneath the surface. Others are navigating seasons of transition and want support approaching change with greater clarity, stability, and intention.
You may find yourself wanting to:
Better understand patterns shaped by family of origin experiences
Heal from trauma or chronic stress and its impact on physical health
Explore anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or mood-related concerns
Navigate transitions into adulthood and questions of identity or life direction with more clarity and self-trust
Break generational cycles and show up differently in relationships or parenting
Strengthen self-esteem and develop healthier boundaries in relationships
Maintain high performance without sacrificing emotional well-being
My Approach to Therapy
Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded. I offer a space that balances insight with practicality, where reflection, emotional awareness, and skill-building come together.
My work is trauma-informed and integrates EMDR therapy with relational and insight-oriented approaches, allowing us to explore both the emotional patterns shaped by earlier experiences and the ways those patterns continue to influence your present life.
I believe feedback is an important part of the therapeutic process. I am an active and engaged participant in our work together, offering observations, reflections, and education when it supports insight and growth while remaining attuned to your pace and readiness. My style is direct while remaining supportive and compassionate.
Our work may include slowing things down, exploring patterns, strengthening nervous system regulation, and developing a deeper understanding of how past experiences shape present reactions. I encourage both reflection and accountability when it supports meaningful change.
This is not a rushed or checklist-driven process. It is intentional, relational work designed to support clarity, resilience, and self-awareness.
Faith, Values, and Meaning
For some clients, faith and spirituality are an important part of how they understand themselves, their relationships, and the world. When it is meaningful to you, I welcome thoughtful exploration of spirituality, values, and purpose as part of the therapeutic process.
My own Christian faith informs how I understand compassion, healing, and human dignity, as well as the ways people search for meaning in the midst of life’s challenges. At the same time, therapy with me is never about imposing beliefs. I work with individuals from a variety of faith backgrounds, as well as those who are questioning or who have experienced hurt within faith communities. My goal is to create space where these experiences can be explored with respect, care, and curiosity.
Who I Do Not Typically Work With
While I work with a wide range of concerns, there are certain situations where individuals are best served by clinicians who specialize in those areas. When the following concerns are the primary focus of treatment, I typically refer to trusted colleagues:
Substance use disorders
Eating disorders
Psychosis
Personality disorders
Clear boundaries help ensure individuals receive the most appropriate and effective care. My practice is not designed to provide crisis-level care or emergency services.
